adorable, collectables from 1996, H.Y. Internationals Palm Pals

Looking for info on Palm Pals? I love these dolls, from Hy International. They were made in 1996. Also have Barbie and Madame Alexander mini-dolls

These are the original Palm Pals, not Walmart knock offs! These are not the $3 Walmart bean bag kids. If you had them side by side, that would be obvious. The detail on these old Palm Pals is just fantastic. They are all from 1996 and manufactured by H.Y. International. These Palm Pals have soft vinyl faces and bean bag bodies. They fit in the palm of the hand and once you pick them up, you don't want to put them down!

They are all in very good to excellent shape and four of the seven still have their tags. I pick these adorable dolls up at least once a day and just hold them, they're so cute. The clothes are all in excellent shape with no stains or tears. One doll has a slight spot on her chin and the tags are not mint but these are all in great shape for their age. If you have an interest in any doll, please email me for a larger picture with more detail. I accept payment thru paypal. Dolls with tags are $15 each, dolls without tags are $12 each, plus shipping. Email to neva.howell at gmail.com

Are these mint? To me, mint means perfect and new or look like new. I am not a doll collector so I tend to be very conservative in my descriptions. If there is the slightest blemish that I notice, it will be noted. Most are barely noticable but if you have a question on any imperfection, feel free to email me for more information.

Palm Pals Girl - Her mouth is open and her brown eyes puzzled looking, as if she is about to try to talk. She's adorable, but then again, they all are adorable. She doesn't have her tag or her hat. Her dress is in great shape, even the little creme-colored ribbon looks great. She is in very good shape too but must have been played with more than the others because she has slight scuffies on her legs and one very small area on her cheek that looks as though a tad of blush might have faded. Overall, in good shape.

Palm Pals Girl - I have another Palm Pals that is similar to this one but as I looked more closely, I could see the expressions were different. This little gal has big, surprised eyes, along with having her tongue stuck out. Her dress is also different from what must be her twin sister who is sitting just below her here. Both are cute but if I had to pick, I really like the startled expression on this one. She is in great shape and so is her outfit. There is the tiniest bit of something on her tongue. Actually looks like a dab of glitter. She has no tag.

Palm Pals Girl - Apparently, this is the twin sister of the doll just above. She has on a different dress and has her tag. Like her sister, she has her tongue stuck out. She is in great shape except for a tiny spot on her chin. I haven't been able to get it off but a collectable doll collector might know how. It isn't noticable and may even look like a little bit of dirt. Children have been known to get dirty. Her tag is in fairly good shape, with a little fold up around the corners but not bad. There's a little bit of an old price label still visible but, again, not bad.

Palm Pals Boy You may not be able to see it in the small picture but this little fella has two bottom teeth that are sticking out and he has the most character of all the dolls listed, in my opinion. He's dressed in a brown-checked outfit and hat, both in great shape. He has his tag but it has a bend down the middle so it's not in as good a shape as the other tags, though still perfectly readable. His left eye has a very slight imperfection in the vinyl but it actually looks to me as if that may have happened in the making of him. It's just a little impression in the vinyl.

Palm Pals Sleepy Baby If you've ever watched a baby wake up, you'll recognize this full out yawn and stretch. Her eyes are still closed and the mouth is open and tweaked to one side in a full yawn. You don't know if she's going to open her eyes and look around or start wailing. Adorable. She is in great shape except that it looks as if some little girl got the glitter out. There is a spot of glitter on the last two fingers of the right hand and a bit of it in her open mouth as well. I don't know if it can be gotten off. She has a tag that is in fairly good shape but has one bend across the left side.

Palm Pals Runny Nose, Teary-Eyed Baby Bless her little heart. Big, brown eyes, visible tears running down her cheeks and a runny nose to boot. Down-turned mouth in an expression that either means a dirty diaper or a hungry tummy. Both doll and clothes are in great shape and her tag is the best of the lot. Just a little rolled up on corners and remants of old price tag but no bends.

Palm Pals Boy: Gosh, I love this little guy. He's wearing a checked outfit and the cutest hat. His expression is just adorable. His mouth is up on one side like I've seen live kids do so often when they are really thinking hard about something. His eyes are clear and look so real I can't believe it. Both doll and clothes are in great shape. He has his tag and it's in tact, just a little rolled up on the corners.
