I plan to focus a bit on collectible card games and movie memorabilia here but you never know what else might show up so check back often, in my collectibles hodgepodge bin! Survivor Board Game - I confess to being one of maybe 10 people on the planet who did not get hooked into the Survivor madness. I'm a Grey's Anatomy/Boston Legal nut but I never rushed home to see Survivor. It may have something to do with the fact that I can't stand exercise or deprivation. In any case, this is a neat game. Anyone who is a true Survivor fan will want to have one.

This game I have was created in 2000. It is missing the erasable pen and score cards but has everything else to play. Players must outwit, outplay and outlast their opponents, just like in the real Survivor but without going to an island and starving. Hey, I might could play this Survivor! The game includes survival items that help you survive and an immunity idol.....don't they use an immunity necklace on the real show? Anyway, this game is $12.50 plus shipping, payable to paypal. Saved By The Bell Board Game - Unopened, still in plastic. One small tear in plastic on front. It appeared one end of this box may have gotten a little wet at some point so if you are buying it to play, I can't vouch for that corner but if you are buying it as a collectible, it is new. It has to be sold "as is" because once it is opened, it's no longer as valuable.

One thing that makes this board game collectible is that it contains 54 full color photos of Zack, Kelly, Slater, Lisa, Jesse and Screech. It also contains a special card from Zack and Slater asking you out on a date. Also includes two biography cards with inside info on all six Saved by the Bell kids. This game was put out in 1992 By Pressman Toy corporation in New York. It is $12.50 plus shipping, payable thru paypal.

Unearthed Arcana This is an orange spine Official Advanced Dungeons and Dragons playbook, published in 1985. The preface page is signed by Gary Gugax. I also have an orange spine Monster Manual II, published in 1983 and several other playbooks including the Players Handbook (sixth printing, 1980), Dieties and Demigods and Fiend Folio, both published 1980, a revised 1979 edition of the Dungeon Masters Guide and a second edition players handbook.

I also have a Dungeons and Dragons 2006 specialist figurines kit with box but I have more figurines than will fit in the box so I have not yet been able to identify which ones go with the Specialists set and which ones are extra. The two orange spine books are $10.00 each and the others are $7.50 eaach plus shipping. Haven't set a price on the 2006 Specialist set. The books are all in fairly good shape though most have little bumps at the corners and some small scruffing here and there. They've been used in other words but are still in good shape.

Facts about book collecting: Once you get into book collecting, you will hear the phrase "first edition" a lot. First edition books are more sought after by collectors. A first edition is what it sounds like, the first printing of a particular book in the original type style. Type styles, graphics and even text can change with future printings.

Other factors that effect collectibility of books include: whether the book is a limited edition, signed by the author or aeg (all edges gilt). When I first got into books, I thought the book club editions would be more desirable but it turns out they are less so.
